I started my professional software engineering journey with Mendix, a low-code platform for building enterprise applications.
When I left that job, I transitioned to JavaScript and Python, and for 5 years, no-code/low-code was lost to me.
Till now!
I can fell it - the inevitable. Back then, Mendix and its promise of efficient low-code magic seemed a luxury of the rich, but now the market is saturated with amazingly affordable alternatives.
They're calling me home.
With the advent of AI, I feel slightly insecure as a programmer. It seems wise to diversify.
Which will it be though? Webflow? Bubble? Framer? Perhaps the lot.
We'll see!
